my personal ideas about standart english




Some advantages of Standard English ;

1-      Standard English is being used in formal situations.
-          It is difficult to imagine that a member of parliament speaking with the little known Accent.
-          As being  English,  in Turkish imagine that when we talk to anybody who has higher statü like rector or president.  We try to be careful about choosing the way we speak.
2-      Standart English  is easier to learn and understand . You cant understand easily Indian English but you can understand Standart English better. It has some rules grammatically and orally in pronunciation. It doesn’t change . Whereever you go , you learn the standart version of English  in schools.
3-      It is easier to translation. You can translate accurately Standart English to your own language. But non-standard English is hard to translate and understand accurately .
4-      In technology, standart English is being used. For example , in computer programs , it is used.
           There is a reason for that. Standart english is global but not standart English is  mostly                          regional.

5-      Communication is occured more easily and accurately with the Standard English.

6-      Standardization has to be in all areas because it is the common ground , common point that makes us come together .
For example ; in football  sector , there are many standarts related to game ,rules, pitch, players, time etc. Think about if there was no standart in this area, what would happen ?
The answer is that the game is lost.

Like in football , there should be a standardization in language. Otherwise , it will dissapear in long time.

Summary ;

There are some realities of life . We can not ignore these realities.
There is no perfect natural language in the World.
Standart English is model English for the learners and it has to be . the model is the thing is being reached . It makes us gather in common point. What can we choose to speak if there is no model English ?  Asian , Korean or Indian ? If there is no model for the language we use  , it changes in long time. And it can be a different language.


So ,  We dont have to be speak Standard English but we can try to best to reach the standard level.
